The Fuel Injection Control Modules (FICM) controls the fuel injectors on the 6.0L engine. It is responsible for stepping up the battery voltage to 48 volts, which is required to activate the injectors. The Fuel Injection Control Modules (FICM) works in conjunction with the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to control fuel delivery to the engine. The module is mounted on the engine’s valve cover, a high heat and vibration prone area.
The O.E. Fuel Injection Control Modules (FICM) has a high failure rate on the 6.0L engine, which may cause stalling or a no-start condition.
GB’s remanufactured Fuel Injection Control Modules (FICM) are 100% torn-down, upgraded and fully tested on GB’s proprietary vehicle simulator.
Once the Fuel Injection Control Modules (FICM) fully tested the modules are PRE-PROGRAMMEDwith the appropriate vehicle software and are ready for installation and operation.
